I founded Doodle Bug Learning Centre with the hope of creating a place where children feel truly loved, supported, and inspired to grow. I wanted to build an environment where childhood is honored—where curiosity is encouraged, creativity is celebrated, and every child feels safe to explore the world around them.

At Doodle Bug, we believe in the beauty of simple childhood moments. Puddles invite splashing, mud is perfect for making mud pies, and hills are meant for rolling down. While our days follow thoughtful routines that help children feel secure, we also leave space for spontaneity, discovery, and the magic that comes with being little.

A deep connection to nature is at the heart of our program. Time outdoors is woven into our days, helping children develop a sense of wonder for the natural world and a respect for the environment around them. Inside our classrooms, we carefully design spaces that are warm, calm, and filled with beautiful materials that encourage imagination and exploration.

My greatest hope is that the children who spend their early years here leave with more than just memories. I want them to grow in confidence, learn how to communicate with kindness and respect, and develop the resilience to try again when something feels hard. These are the small but meaningful life skills that shape thoughtful, compassionate people.

Most of all, I believe childhood is a fleeting and magical time. It should be filled with adventure, imagination, laughter, and joy. At Doodle Bug, we are honored to share these early years with your children and to partner with families as they grow.

Welcome to Doodle Bug.
